Satisfactory stay near Chapel Bridge
beautiful decor comfortable room cooling air-conditioning faulty lock poor air-conditioning unlocked door
The room decor was tastefully decorated and beautiful. I found the room itself spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony and relaxing after sightseeing while listening to a music concert. The air conditioning in our room worked well and kept us cool during the warm July evenings.
One of our rooms had a non-functioning lock. A guest slept overnight with an unlocked door.

unclear directions poor air conditioning
The staff was helpful and dealt with issues swiftly.
Parking lacked clear directions. I found out there was NO street access for cars. It cost CHF 35 per night. It seemed like a complete rip-off. the air conditioning was REALLY BAD. It was unacceptable for a hotel in this price range (I overheard other guests complaining too).

wonderful stay with river views
ideal location helpful staff tower bridge
the location was ideal for exploring the city. the staff was super helpful. our room had wonderful views of the tower bridge and the jesuit baroque church. my husband especially enjoyed sitting out on the balcony.
i found the pillows uncomfortable. they flattened almost completely.

mixed feelings about this hotel stay
unreliable wifi cramped room
the location was indeed perfect, very central to everything.
i found a couple of things quite disappointing. first, the wifi was really unreliable. it was difficult to stay connected (even for simple tasks), so i ended up using my data most of the time. also, the room felt a little cramped. there wasn't much space to move around comfortably, particularly around the bed.

central location hallway water bag storage faulty lock poor air conditioning uncomfortable pillows
The hotel had an excellent location, really easy to get around from there. I found access to filtered water in the hallway a plus. They allowed us to keep our bags at the hotel after checkout, very helpful.
One of our rooms had a lock that did not work, a big safety issue. Air conditioning was quite poor. It was not acceptable. The pillows flattened almost completely. They were uncomfortable.
